Vicki Belo invites Ogie for a 'Mukbang but make it sosyal' edition

Mukbang but make it sosyal with @ogie_diaz ! And what makes food taste better ? A little bit of chika on the side 🙂

That is Dr. Vicki Belo’s mukbang version invitation which she described as having a little bit of chikahan on the side. And who wouldn’t want to see how the sosyal edition looks like, right?

She invited comedian-manager Ogie Diaz whom she described as ‘napakasosyal na tao’ who she’s known for 22 years and one of the first people she met when she came into her practice as a dermatologist in showbiz.

For beginners, Ogie took notice of their attire; noting that Vicki was all glammed up in her Louis Vuitton dress while he was just in a plain colored shirt. ‘Jologs Edition?’

The celebrity doctor shared that this time she’ll show her YT followers the ‘weird’ food ng mga sosyal.

Ogie then asks about the many silverwares and plates, but Vicki’s answer was interrupted by the server’s approach as she pours ‘Perrier‘ on their glasses. Perrier is a French brand of natural bottled mineral water captured at the source in Vergèze, located in the Gard département. Perrier is known for its carbonation and its distinctive green bottle.

Well, Ogie immediately recognized the bottle and even pronounced the name of the cold drink correctly which was acknowledged by Vicki.

After a bit of ‘chikahan’, they had their first serving – soup. Vicki shared that the chinawares are from ‘Versace’ and that the silver plate underneath the plates is called a ‘charger plate.

Also known as service plates, under plates, or chop plates, charger plates are merely decorative and are not meant to come in direct contact with food. It’s to provide an elegant way to serve multiple course meals.

They are using three plates because there will be many servings of food aside from the soup appetizer. The doctor then showed how soup is eaten the ‘sosyal way’; by scooping it outward.

The first main course is a lobster flown all the way from Boston and very much alive when it was delivered, Vicki said. It’s her Mom’s favorite, she told Ogie.

The next course is ‘Hokkaido’ oysters which she shared is a favorite of her husband Hayden. These are juicy, sweet and creamy with a rich flavor of ocean, as per myeasternhokkaido.

The escargot comes next which Vicki said should be eaten with a special fork.

Escargot, from the French word for snail, is a dish consisting of cooked land snails; often served as an hors d’oeuvre and is common in France and parts of India.

More dishes followed. There’s ‘caviar’ (unfertilized fish eggs, also known as fish roe; a salty delicacy, served cold) which they ate with cream cheese. Peking duck, Shawarma and another dish. For dessert, Vicki only mentioned a chocolate cake but it wasn’t shown in the video.

Apparently, it was Ogie’s first time eating on Versace plates.

If you’re wondering on the total cost of their ‘sosyal edition’ mukbang, just google the items. hahaha
