Netizens expressed their admiration for a single mom supporting her kids by working as a delivery rider.
A netizen took a photo of the unidentified lady delivery rider whose top box had a note as a reminder to fellow motorists to drive safely.
“Please be careful while driving. I’m a single mom, thanks,” the note placed in the top box reads.
Facebook page Master Sito shared this snapshot to a group and said “Salute sa’yo mam, sikap lang para sa pamilya. Ingat po sa byahe.”
In the comment section, netizens praised the mother for braving the streets in order to earn for her family and reminded her to always drive safely. “Ang ina gagawin ang lahat para sa mga anak. ingat po palagi!” C. Javier.
Facebook users said what the rider did is a great reminder to all drivers to always prioritize safety because they have loved ones waiting for them at home. “Dapat ganyan lahat Ng nasa likod Ng kotse…para ma remind sila na mag ingat. Salute sayo atee keep it up,” L. Isaac said.
“This is such a good idea to stay safe in a society where value for life and human dignity is decreasing overtime. Yung tipong okay lang makapanagasa basta di late sa trabaho,” another Facebook user commented.
“O okay lang managasa ng traffic enforcer kasi mayaman ka naman at alam mong maraming connection ang pamilya mo sa mga matataas ang pwesto. Each one living around us has families they go home to so don’t be careless.”
Another admitted that he is having the same fears as the rider whenever he has to go out.
“Eto nakakatakot ngayon pag lalabas ka, di mo alam anytime pwede may mangyari sayo, maaksidente etc at di na makauwi at may naghihintay sayong maliit na bata, ito din ang kinakatakot ko.”
