Billy Crawford was surely on Cloud 9 after emerging as the champ at the grand finals of the “Danse avec les stars (Dance With The Stars)” in France on Friday night, November 11.
How about his wife? Well, Coleen Garcia also shared her joy and amazement via an IG post as she shared a photo of her husband holding his trophy plus a very touching message.
Shje said, “Words cannot express how PROUD I am of you, my love! Not just for WINNING this difficult competition, but for growing into the person you have become: a kind, humble man who works hard, dreams big for his family, shoots for the stars and makes sure to lift as many people up with him along the way.”
“You are an AMAZING person, and I am soooo so blessed that our son gets to look up to you and have you as his Dad. You amaze me every time. I love you, and I’m SO HAPPY for you! You deserve all of this and more,” she added.
To note, Coleen also stayed in France during the duration of the Season 12 of the Dance With the Stars together with their son Amari. However, they went back to Manila for just a few days early this month as per Coleen’s November 5 IG update. “In Manila for just a few days for an important event and an important wedding!” Of course, they would never pass the chance to watch and support Billy on that night of the grand finals.
Early in October Coleen got to surprise Billy on DALS as part of a challenge.
Coleen shared, “Believe it or not, he 101% did NOT see it coming, and it was so fun and satisfying to see how shookt he was. 🙂 Also, def never thought I’d ever end up dancing on a French TV show but it was a fun experience, and everyone has been so nice, warm, welcoming and supportive over here. Our whole stay has been wonderful so far! All love and good vibes.” <3
The Big Night
Billy, together with his partner, French dancer Fauve Hautot, fascinated the audience with their amazing L’Enfer de Stromae performance and nailed it. The Philippine bet emerged as the best in the Season 12 of the competition!
On Instagram Billy expressed his happiness over the win; also tagging his wife in his message.
“TO GOD BE THE GLORY! Tonight is for You, Father! (emoji),” Crawford shared. “And to all who supported me on this amazing journey, THANK YOU ALL. My love @coleen my angel of a son Amari.”
Billy also thanked those who were part of his journey in the competition; also becoming emotional as it was their last day.
“Production, @dals_tf1, my amazing new sister @fauvehautot all the crew, all my co contestants, my country, my parents and most of all thank you to the French public who has been there for me for more than 20 years. I’m very emotional today since it’s the last day.”
“From the bottom of my heart, I love you all. Praise Jesus! And keep on trackin’ with me.” 🙂
Billy was dubbed as “Billy The Favorite” since the start of the season 12 as he always reaped praises from the judges plus reports say he appeared to be the crowd favorite. Oh wow!
