Herlene “Hipon” Budol became emotional during the birthday celebration of her manager, Wilbert Tolentino, recently.
In his YouTube video, he shared one of the segments of his party wherein visitors were asked to share what role Wilbert played in their lives.
Herlene said Wilbert completed her life because in the short span of time they have known each other, he has already helped her a lot.
“Mima, ikaw ‘yung bumuo ng buhay ko. Kinumpleto mo ‘yung buhay ko. Hindi ko na makilala ‘yung sarili ko,” Herlene said.
“Papanalo ko po ‘yung laban, hindi para sa akin, para sa sakripisyong binibigay n’yo po sa amin. Mima, ‘yung tulong mo sa pamilya ko, sa saglit nating magkakilala, sobra sobra po. Sobra kitang mahal. Gagawin ko ‘yung lahat para sa’yo. Sana wag kang mamatay,” she continued; drawing laughter from the crowd.
Herlene, who was discovered after joining Wowowin’s beauty pageant, is now an official Bb. Pilipinas candidate.
She told news anchor Karen Davila that Wilbert encouraged her to join the pageant.

“Minotivate po ako ni Sir Wilbert kasi siya po ‘yong nakakita sa potential ko. Parang sabi nila, para ma-boost pa ‘yong confidence ko, maging maganda ako sa paningin ko. Kasi hindi po ako nagagandahan sa sarili ko e,” Herlene said.
The former Wowowin host said she will be pushing for her advocacy of autism awareness and detection.
“Nais kong makatulong sa pagmulat sa mga magulang ang importance ng maagang detection ng autism para malunasan or lumaki ang batang may autism na may medical attention at sila ay maging kapakipakinabang na mamamayan paglaki nila. Importante magkaron ng speech & occupational therapy dahil I believe children are our future,” she explained.
