DSWD Sec. Erwin Tulfo apologizes to woman allegedly disrespected by employee

Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Sec. Erwin Tulfo issued an apology to a mother who was allegedly shamed by an employee of the agency.

In a Facebook post, Sec. Tulfo said the lady whom he did not name tried to ask an employee from DSWD’s satellite office in Tagbilaran, Bohol about its 4Ps program but she did not get a respectful answer.

He assured the woman that they are already looking into the incident.

Pangako!!!” he said.

It can be remembered that Sec. Erwin warned that employees found to be disrespecting DSWD clients will be meted with suspension. He also reminded them that they have a job today because of the people asking for help.
