Dismayado si Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray nang putulin umano ang kaniyang talumpati habang nagbibigay ng mensahe sa katatapos lamang na Global Peace Festival 2022 na ginanap sa Clark Global City, Pampanga.
Ayon kay Catriona, hindi pa nangangalahati ang kaniyang speech ay pinutol na ito kaya humingi siya ng paumnahin sa mga panauhin sa naturang event.
“I’m so disappointed. To everyone who has been waiting in the heat at the #GPFestival2022 I’m sorry,” tweet ni Catriona nitong Sabado, Disyembre 3.
“I worked on a 20min speech for you all, and have been so excited to share it with you all but I was cut off not even 10mins in,” patuloy ng girlfriend ni Sam Milby.
Dahil sa nangyari ay nalulungkot umano siya na hindi niya naibahagi nang maayos sa tamang oras ang kaniyang mensahe para sa mga manonood.
“Just know I love and appreciate you guys and I’m so sad I wasn’t able to have my proper time with you,” bahagi pa ng dalaga.
Umani naman ng simpatiya ang hinaing ni Catriona mula sa mga netizens sa Twitter na andun din sa nasabing event.
“We were there and were disappointed too. No matter what the reason to cut you is not valid because the time that you input to write that speech and to express it. We’ve been listening to a lot of your speeches and they are all meaningful!” ayon sa isang commenter.
“We still hope to hear your full speech! Thank you madam for your time and effort to try to express how an influencer like you can be a model of peace for us the youth,” dagdag pa ng kaparehong commenter.
