Sumuko sa National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) sa Quezon City ang aktor na si Enchong Dee matapos umano nitong boluntaryong sumuko kaugnay ng kinakaharap na kasong cyberlibel.
Nagpiyansa ito ng P48,000 kaya nakalaya rin Lunes ng gabi.
Naging usap-usapan ang umano’y pagtatago ni Enchong matapos mabigo ang mga awtoridad na mahanap siya kamakailan nang maglabas ng mandamiento de arresto ang Davao Occidental Regional Trial Court laban sa aktor.

Ayon sa mga kapitbahay sa address na pinuntahan ng mga awtoridad, matagal na nilang hindi nakikita roon ang aktor. Ngunit sabi ng entertainment writer na si Cristy Fermin, ang pinuntahan ng mga alagad ng batas ay ang paupahan ni Enchong.
Matatandaang sinampahan ng kasong cyberlibel ni Drivers United for Mass Progress and Equal Rights (DUMPER) Representative Claudine Bautista-Lim si Enchong dahil sa tweet nito tungkol sa magarbong kasal ng mambabatas sa Balesin.
“The anxiety, anguish, humiliation and the impact on my and my family’s reputation left us no choice but to file cases against those responsible for causing us so much grief and worry, which almost led to me losing our baby, and which adversely affected some of our constituents’ trust in us,” sabi noon ni Lim.
Naglabas naman ng apology noon si Enchong kaugnay ng kaniyang tweet. Pag-amin niya, hindi niya raw pinag-isipan ang kaniyang ipinost.
“I have been reckless in the tweet I posted and I take full responsibility for my lapse in judgment. With deep regret, I would like to apologize to Congresswoman Claudine Bautista, her husband, their families, and the Dumper Partylist. I reacted based on impulse without thinking of the consequences nor the harm it may cause,” ani Enchong.
“I learned that as dutiful citizens, we must always fact-check our statements to avoid sensationalism and the spread of false news.”
