Parang eksena sa isang maaksyong pelikula pero nangyari sa totoong buhay ang nasaksihan sa Los Angeles, California noong linggo, ika-9 ng Enero.
Isang maliit na eroplano ang bumagsak sa gitna mismo ng riles ng tren. Sugatan ang piloto dahil sa emergency landing kaya hindi nito magawang makaalis sa loob ng eroplano. Mabuti na lang at may mga pulis na nakasaksi sa pangyayari na agad rumesponde para tulungan ang piloto.

Habang tinutulungan ang piloto, isang rumaragasang tren naman ang papalapit na. Makikita sa video na kuha ng isang saksi na binabantayan ng isang lady officer ang paparating na tren para bigyan ng babala ang mga kasama.
Ilang segundo lang mula nang mailabas ang piloto ay nasalpok na ng tren ang eroplano. Nagtalsikan pa ang ilang bahagi niyon at muntik pang tamaan ang isang saksi na kumukuha ng video.
“The plane had a failed takeoff and landed on the train tracks at a popular intersection. Just seconds before impact police officers saved the pilot, and a piece of debris almost hit me,” sabi ni Luis Jimenez, isang 21-year-old music composer na nakunan ang buong pangyayari.
Agad dinala sa pagamutan ang duguang piloto, na ngayon ay nasa maayos na raw na kalagayan, ayon sa local media sa Los Angeles.
Ibinahagi rin ng Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) sa official Facebook page nito ang video ng pangyayari na kuha mula sa body cam ng police officers.

“Foothill Division Officers displayed heroism and quick action by saving the life of a pilot who made an emergency landing on the railroad tracks at San Fernando Rd. and Osborne St., just before an oncoming train collided with the aircraft,” FB post ng LAPD.
