It’s a happy ever after for Captain Ri Jeong-hyeok and Yoon Se-ri—in real life! Crash Landing On You stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin has just announced their engagement; exciting thousands of fans worldwide.
Through her Instagram account, Son Ye-jin revealed on Thursday, February 10, that she is tying the knot with Hyun Bin, saying, “Yes, it’s him.”
“I thought long and hard about how to share this story because it’s an important one. I found someone to spend the rest of my life with. Yes…it’s him. Boy meets girl, recognize each other in the crowd, promise to build a future together,” she wrote.
According to the actress, the love they share happened so naturally and she feels warm and protected by just being with him.
“It happened so naturally. But, isn’t that destiny? Just being with him, I feel warm and protected,” she said.
Son Ye-jin then asked her fans to be with them as they begin a new chapter together.
“Please help us celebrate the beginning of our future. And to my dearest fans, I have received unconditional love and for a long time now, I thought, there’s no way to repay it. Please know that I’m infinitely grateful and I also wish you all happiness!” she expressed.
Hyun Bin also talked about the new milestone in his relationship with Son Ye-jin, confirming their engagement in an official statement through his entertainment agency Vast Entertainment.
The Korean stars, both 38, starred in the 2018 film The Negotiation and eventually got reunited in 2019 for the hit series Crash Landing on You, where her character crash-landed in North Korea’s portion of the demilitarized zone and met an army captain who eventually helps her.
