Such was the lesson from this sweet and touching story straight from an ‘ukay-ukay’ seller’.
Sarah Alexandrea Daculap, the uploder and the shop owner, shared how she witnessed a very heartwarming scene one morning while waiting for customers.
According to her, two young boys quietly walked into her shop and started going through an array of dresses. Out of curiosity, she approached the boys, hoping to assist them.
When the boys can’t seem to find the right one, Sarah asked why they wanted a woman’s dress in the first place.
Apparently, it was for their mother and they wanted to buy a dress as a birthday gift.
“Para po sa mama namin! Birthday niya po kasi ngayon,” came the boys’ reply, the sharer said.
Touched and impressed by their sweetness, Andrea said she helped the boys look for the right dress since they can only afford 100 pesos to pay for the gift they want.
“Nakakatuwa! Apaka sweet na mga anak,” Sarah added.
Netizens also praised the boys for their thoughtfulness and how they showed their love for their mother even in a very simple way.
They also admired the mother for raising her children well; hoping they will remain the same sweet boys when they grow up.
