Pinaalalahanan ni Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach ang netizens na huwag basta-basta maniniwala sa mga kumakalat na quotes ng mga personalidad sa social media.
Ito ay matapos kumalat ang pekeng quote card niya kung saan diumano ay sinabi niyang hindi niya gusto ang negative campaigning dahil mas mainam na i-promote ng mga kandidato ang sarili sa halip na siraan ang iba.
“Don’t just believe in negative campaigns. I really do believe that if your heart is pure and ready to serve the country towards a better future, then all you gonna do is promote yourself and not by destroying figures of your co-candidates it may look desperate,” saad sa diumano’y pekeng quote card ng beauty queen.
“I do believe that people who does negative campaigning are really on pressure and threatened because he/she is behind by the other candidate.”
Nakita ito ni Pia matapos siyang i-tag ng isang Twitter user na sumasang-ayon sa quote. “Very well said, Ms. Pia,” sabi ng netizen sa ngayon ay burado nang tweet.
“Hello po! I did not say this. Let us not spread fake news,” paglilinaw ni Pia.
Paalala niya rin sa netizens, ‘wag agad paniwalaan ang mga nakikita online at siguraduhing mag-double check ng sources.
“Don’t believe all the quotes that you see online. Let’s make it a habit to double check our sources. Ingat palagi,” aniya.
Gayunpaman, na-appreciate daw ni Pia ang mga komento tungkol sa post.
