Director Paul Soriano, who was behind the campaign ads of presumptive Pres. Bongbong Marcos, denied that he was offered a position in the government.

In an interview with ABS-CBN, Paul denied that he is set to head Radio TV Malacañang (RTVM) when former Sen. Marcos sits in power.
“I’ve not been offered anything. I am back to my job, producing films and commercials. Currently, we’re preparing for the straight airing on Netflix this July of the comedy drama ‘The Untitled’ with Alex Gonzaga,” he told ABS-CBN.
However, he said he is open to helping the president-in-waiting should he tap him to direct his State of the Nation Address (SONA) in the future.
“If there’s a need for me to help, I will be there in whatever capacity. I’ve been supporting him from the start and I will continue to do that. He can count on us,” he assured.

Former Sen. Marcos thanked Paul and his wife Toni Gonzaga for their valuable help in his campaign.

Toni, despite being criticized, appeared on UniTeam’s campaign rallies to perform. Former Sen. Marcos also said that Toni was the one who kicked off his campaign when she interviewed him on Toni Talks.
“We should congratulate them for the fine work that they did. In front of me is Ms Toni Gonzaga. Sabi ko sa kaniya kanina, siya ang nag-start ng kampanya na ito. Kasi nung pumutok yung kaniyang interview sa akin, syempre kinriticize yun. Ang tapang-tapang nito,” he said.

When Toni’s interview reached millions of views, the presumptive president said he took it as a sign that there might be a chance for him to win.
“Sinundan pa ni Paul that did all our ads. Sa aking palagay, nobody can contest na malayong-malayo. Ginagaya nga e. Yung dalawa, tatlong ads natin, ginagaya e. We kept the momentum going and the message alive,” he added.
