Recording artist Claudia Barretto is fulfilling one of her dream vacations abroad as she goes on a trip to Spain and Italy as a graduation gift to herself.
On Instagram, Claudia’s mother, Marjorie Barretto, shared how proud she is that the singer is now flying to the aforementioned destinations to relish a trip that she worked hard for as a reward to herself for giving her best and giving it all while juggling work and school requirements during her college years.
“Off she goes,” she wrote. “I took my third child to the airport late last night. She was to travel with her good friend to Spain and Italy. A trip she worked and saved up for as her graduation gift to herself.”
“I’m so proud of you, @claudia,” she told her. “I hugged you so tight and told you to go and make the best memories. I put a cross on her forehead while praying to God to keep them under His protection. I love you, Claudia. Thank you for finishing strong in college. You make me so proud. Have fun and come back to mom soon. God be with you.”
Earlier this year, Marjorie expressed excitement that Claudia’s finally returning to school for her face-to-face classes; sharing a video of the psychology student at the Ateneo de Manila University outside their home with a backpack.
“This makes me want to cry! I’m so happy she gets to go to physical school right before she graduates in May,” she expressed.
“She’s wearing her backpack again, she has this school vibe and for the first time, she’s driving herself to school. She’s also graduating so she should just enjoy the last few days,” she continued.
