We’ve heard of fur babies running after their favorite persons – their masters or fur parents. Some have even jumped into the water to chase a fur parent who rode a boat.
That is how anxious some pets are when their fur parents seem to leave them behind — the fear of being left for good? They could become so downcast and feel lost when their fur parent take too long to return — or are unable to return at all because they have passed away. What then?
Losing their master

Such is the case of a dog whose master or fur parent has gone on to the next life.
There’s ‘Jeremy, a white aspin’ who was caught on video by the son of his master as it seems to grieve seeing the empty bed of its master. Apparently, Jeremy, who’d been with them for seven years, used to sleep with the head of the family.
“Our senior dog ‘Jeremy’ loves to nap near my dad who passed away recently, and then I saw this and it broke my heart. I ugly cried!” Rabin Canuzo of Laurel, Batangas shared in his post on Facebook.

Rabin further shared that his late 86-year-old father spoiled their fur baby and even treated him like a ‘bunso’; the youngest in the family.. Jeremy was even the first to receive some ‘pandesal’ in the mornings; ahead of everyone else.
“You can always tell that he’s missing Dad as well,” Rabin concluded his narration with Bayan Mo, Ipatrol mo.

‘Sepanx’ or separation anxiety doesn’t happen only to people. Even our fur babies could experience separation anxiety; that fear of being left by your support or favorite person whether only for some time or left permanently.
It is crucial that we try to fill in the void left by the absence, because even our pets could experience brokenheartedness.
