Former child actor Buboy Villar recently posted some of his beach photos on social media, which immediately got the attention of a lot of people online, including his fellow celebrities.
On Instagram, Buboy uploaded the photos which were taken during one of his recent beach trips. A lot of netizens commented on the photo, including Kapuso actress Bianca Umali, who said she mistakenly thought she was seeing Kapuso actor Ruru Madrid’s pictures.
“Uy, akala ko si Ruru!” Bianca commented, to which Ruru responded, “Hanep!”
Reacting to the aforementioned comment, Buboy jokingly said, “Ang pangit naman ng akala mo sa akin! Suwerte naman nito kung kamukha niya ako.”
Aside from the two GMA stars, other celebrities also left comments on the pictures showing his abs.
Now a grown-up, the former child wonder is already a father to two children, co-parenting with ex-partner Angillyn Gorens. In an interview with Toni Gonzaga on Toni Talks, he said he considers having kids the best thing that happened to him.
“Sa awa ng Diyos, ngayon okay naman na. Yung mga chikiting ko, mga makukulit na rin at masaya. Sa lahat ng laban ko sa buhay na ito, isa lang ang masasabi ko: Isa yun sa pinakamagandang nangyari sa buhay ko, ‘yung mga anak ko,” he said.
Meanwhile, Buboy has been doing a number of projects in the show business nowadays and is part of the bunch of Filipino actors and content creators who are included in the cast of one of GMA’s biggest reality shows this year, Running Man Philippines.
Running Man is one of South Korea’s longest-running variety shows. The program, which will be co-produced by GMA and SBS Korea, will follow the same format as the South Korean version; featuring celebrity guests who engage in performances and challenges in different places in order to win a race.
