Scribble is usually defined as “a piece of writing that is done quickly or carelessly”—well, not for this self-taught artist who has been capturing thousands of hearts on social media with her deep, extraordinary scribbled portraits.
On Instagram, Liz Y Ahmet—an expressive portrait artist who has always been fascinated with faces—has been uploading her unique masterpieces, with over 91,000 followers waiting for her new creations.
“Creativity is the way I share my soul with the world,” she shared earlier.
But how does the passionate artist create her well-loved portraits? According to Liz, she prefers to select a photo reference that best conveys her emotion at that time and create a piece spontaneously, with more emphasis on getting the emotive content than focusing on an accurate representation of the face.
