13-year-old entrepreneur puts up her own 'KPop cafe business'

Cafe inspired by BTS that sells a variety of Kpop merch — That’s what Given’s business is all about.

Being a fan girl paved the way for a thirteen-year-old student to build her own business, the ‘G’s Kpop Kilig‘.

Based on Mommy Juvy’s story, her daugther’s cafe idea started only this 2022.

Given decided to sell her other personal merchandise to invest in her business.

“As a fan, I was sad a little bit kasi, aw this is money so I have to let go of you, guys. I’m sorry. Ayun po. Then I sold it.’Yung ine-earn ko pong profit plus ‘yung investment ko po, I decided to buy more albums po,” Given said in an interview with the ‘Philippine Star.’

It was disclosed that Mommy Juvy and Daddy Diego did not have any reservations or doubts about the new business that Given wanted to try.

Less than a month after the grand opening, fellow Kpop fans are already flocking to her cafe and Given was already earning five figures a month.

But before Given could achieve her dream cafe, she also tried many small businesses as a young entrepreneur. She did not spend her savings from her first ukay-ukay business.

According to her parents, even as a child, they already saw her potential as she was already thrifty and business-minded.

“Even when she’s getting allowance, even from very early on, 50% always went in the bank. And at first, she’s like ‘ugh. I have to put 50% in the bank and then she’s like,’yeah, I’ll put 50% in the bank,” Daddy Diego said.

Looking back, Given expressed great gratitude to her supportive parents.

Aside from having supportive parents, you will be truly impressed with Given’s passion and business acumen.

With the success that Given is achieving at such a young age, Mommy Juvy and Daddy Diego want their daugther’s story to be an inspiration to everyone.

Her mother’s advice, “Don’t doubt what your child can do. Believe in what your child can do. And not just believe but support them, push them harder like kung ano man passion nila.”

“Help your kids to understand what the risk is. Push them if you see that they’re passionate about it. Keep encouraging them and let them go,” was her father’s advice.
