Billy Crawford is over the moon after emerging as the winner at the grand finals of “Danse avec les stars (Dance With The Stars)” in France.
Together with his partner, French dancer Fauve Hautot, they mesmerized the audience once again on Friday night, November 11 (Saturday morning, November 11, PH time) with their amazing L’Enfer de Stromae performance.
It was a stiff competition between Crawford and the 17-year-old French singer (who was the “The Voice Kids France 2018” 4th placer) Carla Lazzari. The Philippine bet energed as the best in the Season 12 of the contest!
Crawford took to Instagram his elation over the win; expressing his gratefulness also to his wife, actress Coleen Garcia, and their Baby Amari.
“TO GOD BE THE GLORY! Tonight is for You, Father! (emoji),” Crawford shared. “And to all who supported me on this amazing journey, THANK YOU ALL. My love @coleen my angel of a son Amari.”
He also thanked those who were part of his journey in the competition; becoming emotional as it was their last day.
“Production, @dals_tf1, my amazing new sister @fauvehautot all the crew, all my co contestants, my country, my parents and most of all thank you to the French public who has been there for me for more than 20 years. I’m very emotional today since it’s the last day.”
“From the bottom of my heart, I love you all. Praise Jesus! And keep on trackin’ with me.” 🙂
He was dubed as “Billy The Favorite” since the start of the season 12 as he always got praises from the judges plus he appeared to be the crowd favorite.
He got 53.5% from the public vote while Lazzari got 46.5%.
Meanwhile, his wife Colleen also shared her joy on IG together with a photo of her husband.
