Humihingi ng panalangin si Andi Eigenmann para sa isla ng Siargao na kabilang sa mga lugar sa bansa na nakaranas ng hagupit ni bagyong Odette.
Bagama’t wala ngayon sa Siargao dahil na-cancel ang kaniyang flight ay sunud-sunod ang Instagram stories ni Andi tungkol sa kalagayan ng isla.

“Cancelled flight going home due to super typhoon Odette. Receiving updates about current damages happening in our home but also just very worried about our loved ones on the island. Hope this passes soon,” sabi ni Andi.
Kasunod nito ay nagbahagi naman siya ng hotline number ng Disaster Risk Reduction Office, Health Office, Philippine National Police, Coast Guard, at Bureau of Fire Protection sa Siargao. “Save these numbers in case you or anyone needs urgent rescue,” paalala niya.

Sa pamamagitan ng mga kaibigan na nasa Siargao ay nag-post din siya ng video na nagpapakita kung gaano kalakas ang hangin at buhos ng ulan.
“Super typhoon ODETTE coming in a couple hours yet trees are already falling, and no electricity. Hope those living near the ocean have evacuated. Keep safe Siargao,” saad niya sa caption nito.
Nitong hapon naman ay nag-repost siya ng update mula sa kaibigan sa Siargao na nagsasabing wala nang signal doon kaya nahihirapan silang ma-contact ang kanilang mga mahal sa buhay.

“Please pray for Siargao and the surrounding islands. They all prepared as much as they could,” sabi ng Instagram user na si Tali.
Sa 8 p.m. weather bulletin ng PAGASA ay sinabi nilang nakataas ang signal no. 4 sa Southern Leyte, southwestern portion of Leyte, central and southern portions of Cebu, central and southern portions of Negros Oriental, at central and southern portions of Negros Occidental.
Ang Siargao naman ay nasa ilalim pa ng signal no. 3.
