Makikita sa Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Naic Municipal Jail sa Naic, Cavite ang isang Christmas tree na gawa sa metal.
Ayon sa kawani ng BJMP Naic, ang mga ‘talentadong’ persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) mismo ang gumawa ng Christmas tree na tinawag nilang “Wish Ko Lang Tree.”

Inspirasyon daw kasi nila ang programa sa telebisyon na “Wish Ko Lang.”
Makikitang nakasabit sa Wish Ko Lang Tree ang iba’t ibang kulay ng mga papel kung saan nakasulat ang mga simpleng kahilingan ng mga bilanggo sa Naic para sa Pasko.
“These are some of the wishes ng ating mga kapatid sa bilangguan. Feel free to grant them. Share your blessings in this seasons of giving,” post ng BJMP Naic personnel na si Bryan Villaester.
“The concept of this simple yet remarkable tree comes from the show “Wish Ko Lang”… The PDLs hung each of their own wishes written on a colorful sticky note that added color to the metal-based tree; crafted by our very own talented PDL’s from the livelihood section,” ayon pa sa kanya.
Sinabi niya na ibinahagi nila iyon sa social media sa pagbabakasakaling may mabubuting kalooban na magbigay-katuparan sa simpleng hiling ng mga PDLs sa kanilang bayan.

“Every PDL have their own priorities, their own wants, and needs. Some people may choose material things, while others prefer tangible ones such as love, peace, and good health among others. No matter what these people wish for this holiday season, what matters most is that they still have desires and hopes in their hearts,” ayon pa kay Villaester.
Nakaaantig ang mga simpleng kahilingan nila. Mula sa tsinelas, salamin sa mata, personal hygiene kit, tasty bread at palaman, isang box ng Dunkin Donut para sa kanilang sarili hanggang sa mga groceries, noche buena, damit at cellphone para sa pamilya nila na hindi makakapiling ngayong Pasko.
May humiling pa ng massage kit para magamit daw niya sa paghahanapbuhay kapag laya na siya.
Maraming netizens ang tumugon upang mabigyan ng katuparan ang mga kahilingan ng mga bilanggo.
