Ang Cebuana beauty queen na si Tracy Maureen Perez na pambato ng Pilipinas sa 2021 Miss World pageant ay nagmistulang isang diyosa sa suot niyang national costume.
Noong Martes, December 14, ay ipinakita sa official Instagram page ng Miss World ang larawan ni Miss World Philippines na si Tracy na suot ang kanyang national costume. Kasabay na rin ng pag-anunsyo na pasok siya sa Top 10 Beauty With A Purpose challenge.

Ang designer ng national costume ni Tracy ay si Axel Que, ang designer na siya ring lumikha ng Golden Lunar Dragon o “Bakunawa” national costume ni Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez.
Ayon kay Axel, ang inspirasyon niya sa disenyo ng national costume ni Tracy ay ang mythological character na si “Mayari,” ang Moon Goddess na anak ni Bathala.
“My rendition incorporated a lot of traditional forms as the base silhouette, with slight exaggerations in the proportion and volume. For embellishment, I crafted white & purple moon flowers (morning glory/moon vine) from scratch, and added the gradient shading in the middle to give it more depth. Pearls and tassels thoughtfully border the hemlines,” ayon sa designer.
Sakaling masungkit ni Tracy ang korona ay siya ang ikalawang Pinay na magiging Miss World kasunod ni Maegan Young na nakoronahan noong 2013.
Samantala, pormal na naglabas ng press release ang Miss World organization na pansamantala nitong ipinagpaliban ang global broadcast ng finale ng kompetisyon na ginaganap sa Puerto Rico dahil sa covid.

Nakatakda sanang maganap ang coronation ngayong Biyernes, December 17, sa San Juan, Puerto Rico.
“After meeting with the virologists and medical experts hired to oversee the Miss World 2021 event and discussing with the Puerto Rico Health Department, the decision has been made by the organizers of the event to postpone the globally broadcast finale at the Puerto Rico Coliseum Jose Miguel Agrelot to be held within the next 90 days.,” anunsyo ng organisasyon.
Pito sa mga kandidata ang nagpositibio sa virus.
Hindi kabilang sa kanila si Trace Maureen Perez ng Pilipinas.
