Kung huhulaan natin ang mga posibleng humahawak ng Guinness World Records (GWR) para sa “largest collection of lip balms”, ilan sa mga maisasagot natin ay makeup artist, beauty queen, artista, at iba pa na mahihilig sa paggamit ng cosmetics. Ngunit sino nga bang mag-aakala na ang kasalukuyang may hawak nito ngayon ay isang anim na taong gulang lamang na bata?

Sa website ng GWR, ibinahagi ang tungkol sa batang si Scarlett Ashley Cheng na kasalukuyang may mahigit 3000 na lip balm sa kanyang collection.
“Six-year-old Scarlett Ashley Cheng from Hong Kong SAR, China, has a staggering collection of lip balms. She and her sister, eight-year-old Kaylyn, are keen lip balm curators and have amassed a total of 3,388 different ones. Their assortment was confirmed as the largest collection of lip balms on 24 April 2021,” saad nito.

“The collection includes lip balms of different types, color, texture, shape, and function. They also have lip balms from all over the world and from brands such as Burt’s Bees, eos, Humble, Nivea, and many, many more!” dagdag pa nito.
Pagbabahagi ng paslit, nagsimula ang hilig niya sa mga lip balm matapos siyang bilhan nito ng kanyang lola para ipanggamot sa kanyang dry lips.
“It all started with having dry lips when I was little,” pagbabahagi ni Scarlett. “My parents and my grandma used to put lip balms on my lips every day to keep them moist. At first, they were just plain without any flavors when I was very young, and as I grew older, I started to try out different flavors.”
“Over the last few years, collecting lip balms has become one of my hobbies because of the way they look, they taste, and they feel!” saad pa niya.
