Just five days after hosting the proclamation rally of the UniTeam candidates, Toni Gonzaga is back to her TGS vlogs. And prior to Valentine’s Day, she invited her parents whom she considers as “the best couple para sa akin.”
The 38-year-old singer, host, actress, producer, vlogger and entrepreneur has no other than her own parents as her guests in her Valentine’s special vlog and titled it “How Well Do You Remember with BoPin”.
Toni shared that her parents will be having a date on Hearts’ Day itself so they scheduled the Valentine edition a day before.
Toni’s the eldest daughter of former punong barangay, councilor and vice mayor Carlito “Bonoy” Gonzaga and Crisanta “Pinty” and the only ‘Ate’ of Catherine Cruz Gonzaga-Morada, aka Alex Gonzaga.
The first few questions covered their parents’ first meeting, how they met, where they first dated, movie watched on first date and what Pinty was wearing on that first date. Well, they’re triumphant over their answers which matched.
They met at Pinty’s house through a friend (Pareng Alex), had their first date at Dilson Theatre in Recto and watched ‘Snub Nose Magnum’. Bonoy remembers Pinty wearing a brown top and maong pants which his wife acknowledged in her answer board. Check! Bonoy also remembers that Pinty brought a chaperone. Lol
It’s amazing that their recollection of their ‘firsts’ remain vivid in their memory. Just shows how significant the start of their relationship was.
The following questions covered favorites as well as sizes (waistline included!) and height. Later on questions were on personal matters like atitudes and expressions, moods and funny things about each other.
Bonoy was quick to answer that Pinty’s favorite actresses are Sharon Cuneta and Vilma Santos. And while the wife remembers Cristina Gonzales as her husband’s crush actress, Bonoy forgets her name and writes Gutierrez.
Overall, it was a very entertaining and funny Q&A edition for Valentine’s.
The finale question was ‘what is Bonoy’s favorite bible verse’. The answer – Genesis 50:20 – “Ang ginawa n’yong masama, ginawang mabuti ng Diyos.”
Toni’s Assessment at the end of the “How Well Do You Remember – Senior Edition”: They may not remember a lot of things, but they choose to love each other through thick and thin.
As of posting, their video has gotten more than 1.4 million views in just a few hours and easily became Trending #3. Comments of happy viewers continue to pour.
