A beautiful, young girl with a pair of blue eyes has become viral on social media after she was spotted by a netizen early this month in Southern Leyte.
According to Nico Adam, who took the girl’s photos and shared them on Facebook, he and his team were distributing relief packs and safety kits to college students in Hinundayan town when ‘Kulot’ caught his attention, specifically because of her extraordinary set of eyes.
“She reminds me of the blue-eyed Fremen in the planet Arrakis from the 2021 film “Dune.” Her eyes are just mesmerizing. It’s like a small window which transports you to a blue galaxy in space. This product of genetic switch, I presumed, is visually striking but it may come with a few risks per some studies,” Adam wrote.
He then asked permission from Kulot’s mother to share her daughter’s pictures. The mother agreed; hoping that the girl could receive some medical attention.
“Although the six-year old kid can see normally, as a mother, she just want to make sure her kid is as healthy as those kids with typical brown/black eyes,” the netizen said.
Adam’s post has since gone viral and been featured in several news outlet including GMA News, ABS-CBN News and Inquirer.
In his latest update, Adam shared that there are now a number of people who came forward to extend help to Kulot and her family.
“In any ways, big or small, I know Kulot and her family are grateful for all those who showed love and shared their blessings to them,” he said.
Kulot will also now be checked by an eye specialist, the netizen further shared; something that her mother has been praying for.
“I hope we can all realize that Kulot is just one of the many people that need our help… there are some that are even worse,” Adam added.
