A kid went viral on social media after showing how much he cares for his pet when he cried his eyes out while his cat was receiving its anti-rabies vaccine in Capas, Tarlac recently.

In a series of posts, Animal Kingdom Foundation shared the story of two-year-old Seth Jake Caldamo and his pet Princess who was among the pets who received an anti-rabies shot in line with the Rabies Awareness Month.
“The kid cried so much when the vaccinators took his beloved cat,” the foundation shared.
“This scene proved how innocent kids are, and how genuine their love for their pets can be. If we teach our children to be compassionate, we are assured of a better tomorrow for the animals.”
The group also commended Seth’s family for raising him well.

“We commend Baby Seth’s family. His Lolo Ruben, and his parents – Tatay Ariel and Nanay Myla. They raised this kid well! The little boy has pure and genuine love for his pet cat. We think he knew that vaccinations hurt a bit and he did not want his cat to experience that.”
The scene also brought hope for a better tomorrow for animals.
“Imagine if all parents teach their kids to love their pets to this degree. Animal cruelty and irresponsible pet ownership will no longer exist. There will be a better world for the animals, there will be a better tomorrow for them,” the group added.

Seth’s videos have garnered thousands of reactions; with netizens praising his parents for raising him to be loving towards animals.
“Nag-uumpisa ang pagiging mabuting bata basta maturuan sa loob ng tahanan. Appreciation for you, kiddo. YES to love and affection, NO to animal abuse and cruelty,” S. Sanchez commented.
“Kaka-touch naman. Sana lahat tayo ugaling bata lalo na sa pagmamahal sa ating animals,” Grace O said.
