Umani ng papuri si Iza Calzado, 39, mula sa mga netizen sa social media sa kanyang pinakabagong online post tungkol sa panahon ng halalan ngayong taon sa Pilipinas.
Sa kanyang Instagram post, nitong Mayo 15, ibinahagi ng aktres ang ilan sa mga larawan niya na kuha mismo sa mga rally na dinaluhan niya para sa Leni-Kiko tandem.
Ayon kay Iza, ang pagtanggap ng pagkatalo nang may dignidad at may pusong puno ng pag-asa ay isang bagay sa mga natutunan niya.
“To accept defeat with dignity and grace and a heart filled with hope is what this election season has taught me,” aniya na pinuri naman ng ilang netizens na ang ganitong mindset umano ang dapat mayroon ang bawat Pilipino.
“I have the utmost respect for the leaders I voted for after seeing them handle their loss,” dagdag pa niya.
Kahit na natalo sa halalan ang ibinoto niya, nagbigay naman si Iza ng mensahe para sa kasalukuyang halal ng administrasyon na umani ng papuri mula sa mga netizens.
“I now put my faith in the current elected administration and, with a hopeful heart, I pray for them as they do their duty to lead our country. To everyone I met along the way during the campaign, thank you. It was so inspiring to see this awakening of the Filipino spirit. I will treasure it forever.”
Paalala din niya na dapat tayong maging matapang at magkaisa para sa ating bansa.
“Now, we must stand strong, united for the Motherland. We must push for progress, peace and prosperity as ONE. Love and Light, Pilipinas. Mabuhay! PH.”
Kabilang si Iza sa mga celebrities na sumali sa Leni-Kiko rally sa Digos, Davao Del Sur. Ibinahagi niya ito sa kaniyang Instagram, kung saan ay na-inspire siya.
“To feel the energy of the people, some of them even travelled so far just to be part of the rally, was so inspiring and gave me so much hope. So much positive energy could be felt inside the stadium. It was electric!”
