After Jason Hernandez and wife Moira dela Torre confirmed their decision to part ways after three years of marriage, the internet was abuzz with reactions from online users.
Jayson had posted, “This is probably the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write. But since you guys have been with us from the start, it is only right that you hear this straight from me,” he said in a Facebook post.
“3 years ago, I married my bestfriend with the intent of spending the rest of my life with her. Though my love for her has always been genuine, a few months ago, I confessed to Moira that I have been unfaithful to her during our marriage. I believe that she deserved to know the truth rather than continue down a “peaceful” but dishonest path. I take full responsibility and I’m doing my best to be better. From the bottom of my heart, I’m sorry for everyone I hurt. Especially Moi.”
Fans and followers expressed shock, disbelief and sadness over the couple’s split up. Nearly 300K shared their confirmation post and more than 20K expressed their thoughts and feelings as well as comforting words to Moira.
Why, oh why?
To their fans and followers, theirs was an ideal relationship which started from friendship and culminated into a fairy tale wedding as they start their new life as husband and wife in January 2019. Even their wedding vows went viral and inspired many.
They were ‘lodi’ to many and motivated a lot of people into believing that true love exists, as per comments from fans.
Despite the falling apart of the Jason and Moira tandem, however, there are those who expressed hope and prayers that in good time they will find the way back to each other’s arms. Meanwhile, some advised that they need space and time to handle the emotional turmoil which they’re most possibly feeling right now.

Moira’s 2020 hit song is all about ‘Letting go’ – a tragic story of loving someone and having to let that someone go when you are no longer the reason of their happiness. A deep ouch, really.
No wonder it went viral back then as it’s relatable, and the angelic voice of Moira was enough to make you truly emotional.
As the lyrics goes, “Saan nagsimulang magbago ang lahat? Kailan no’ng ako’y ‘di na naging sapat? Ba’t ‘di mo sinabi no’ng una pa lang? Ako ang kailangan, pero ‘di ang mahal.

It was inevitable perhaps that fans who were closely following their career and love story went back in time to wallow in ‘grief’ over the ending of Jason and Moira’s journey.
To date, the ‘Paubaya‘ video’s views has soared even higher; from 60M it has risen to more than 74M in just one day and comments have escalated to over 120K.
Even Moira’s wedding vow and wedding song video also got re-views and reaction/comments as well as her other songs.
“Ikaw at Ako” was just too painful for many. As one YouTuber said, “When you realize they no longer could “go back” to this song because wala na, ubos na yung pag-ibig. shems ang sakit.”
