Romnick Sarmenta ‘politely disagrees’ with Mayor Isko’s statements on 'red vs yellow'

Actor Romnick Sarmenta said he does not agree that the feud between “red and yellow” will not stop if the presidential candidate from either party wins in the 2022 elections.

“I politely disagree with the statement that says: Di matatapos ang gulo kapag pula o dilaw ang manalo. Ang tamang statement ay: Di matatapos ang gulo, kapag trapo ang nanalo,” he said in a tweet.

“We deserve a better government that is transparent, accountable, and pro-Philippines.”

It appears he is referring to the statement of showbiz friend and presidential aspirant Isko Moreno who said that voters should choose him if they want peace of mind.

“I’ve been trying to send you the message. Hindi matatapos ang away ng pula at dilaw sinuman ang iboto n’yo sa pagitan nila,” the Manila Mayor said.

“Kita n’yo stress sa ordinaryong Pilipino. Samahan n’yo ako. I will give peace of mind. Walang away, walang gantihan. Focus lang tayo sa problema,” he added.

This is not the first time that Romnick took a swipe at his friend. He also posted after the Easter press conference attended by presidential aspirants Mayor Isko, Sen. Ping Lacson, and former Defense Sec. Norberto Gonzales.

Di pa huli,” he tweeted.

Romnick is a vocal supporter of the tandem of Vice President Leni Robredo and Sen. Kiko Pangilinan.
