Binibining Pilipinas candidate Herlene Budol is letting her fans see her late grandmother, Nanay Bireng, for the last time. She, however, has one simple request to those who are planning to attend the latter’s wake: no taking of photos with her.
On Instagram, Herlene shared the details of her Nanay Bireng’s wake; saying that her fans can pay their last respect and be with them amid this very difficult time.

In a previous Instagram post, Herlene shared the sad news that her “Nanay Bireng” succumbed to kidney failure on Monday morning, June 6.
According to Herlene, her Nanay Bireng bravely fought her battle with kidney disease for the past month but she did not make it due to the complications brought by her old age.

She added that she is deeply saddened that her Nanay Bireng will no longer be there to support her during the Binibining Pilipinas Coronation Night, “Nanay ko, nangako ka kay @sirwil75 makakapunta kayo ni Tatay Oreng sa Binibining Pilipinas Coronation Night ko.”
“Mami-miss kita nang sobra,” she expressed.
