Senator-elect Robin Padilla has expressed love and support to his former leading lady Kris Aquino, who has been battling a serious disease for quite a while now.
On Facebook, Robin shared a video about Kris’ serious medical condition and extended support to the Queen of All Media, “Marami kaming nagdadasal para sa iyo. Marami kaming nagmamahal sa iyo, Kris.”

Earlier, Robin, who topped the list of elected senators last election, shared how Kris helped him during the campaign period; revealing that the latter used her connections to gather support for him.
“Maraming nagtatanong at nagtataka kung bakit napakataas ng boto ko at kung paano ako nag number one. Walang nakakaalam na may boto rin ako galing sa kampo ng mga Aquino,” he wrote.

“Kinausap niya ako kung ano ang campaign strategy ko, sabi ko conventional lang ako dahil wala naman ako pera. Ang alas ko lang talaga ay si PRRD [President Rodrigo Duterte, SBG [Senator Bong Go], at si Inday Sara Duterte, endorsement lang ng tatlong ito umiikot ang aking pag-asa na manalo at siempre ang tulong ng taongbayan,” Robin narrated, saying that Kris did not mind him being part of Uniteam and still called the right people who can boost his candidacy. “Tinawagan niya mga matitinding governor, LGU officials, at mga matataas na tao na may paggalang at malalim na sa pasasalamat sa mga Aquino. Hindi kailanman naging isyu sa kanya na Uniteam ako, nagtataka ang mga nakakausap niya kung bakit ako nilalakad sa kanila pero sinasagot lang niya ito ng, ‘Basta pls help Robin for me.’ Kris Aquino delivered the Aquino Vote for me.”
He then told Kris, “Maraming-maraming salamat, Ms. Kris Aquino. Ang ating pagiging magkaibigan ay hindi naapektuhan ng pulitika. Bagkus, ito pa ang nagbuklod sa atin. Hinding-hindi kami makalilimot.”

Kris’ Condition
Admitting that she currently has a life-threating condition already, Kris recently talked about the rumors regarding her demise and promised to continue to fight for her life.
In an eight-minute Instagram video, Kris gave updates on her current situation and clarified some fake news that has been spreading in different social media platforms.
“‘Yong chismis na na-confine ako, na nasa ICU, na nag-aagaw buhay, masyado kayong advance,” she said. To make it to clear to everyone, she said she’s alive and “going to fight to stay alive.”
In the caption of the video she uploaded, the well-known actress disclosed finding out last April that her illness is already life-threatening and she now has three confirmed autoimmune conditions: chronic spontaneous urticaria, autoimmune thyroiditis, and vasculitis.

“To be very specific–late-stage 3 of Churg Strauss Syndrome now also known as EGPA,” she added. “Lahat ng paraan sinusubukan for me to get to Houston soonest. ‘Yong gamot that, God willing, can help save me doesn’t have FDA approval here or in Singapore and isasabay na po mag-infuse ng chemotherapy as my immunosuppressant. Why? Allergic po ako sa lahat ng steroids.”
The actress-host also revealed that she will leave the country in few days. Before ending her post, she left a message for those who were throwing hatred on her, “Hindi n’yo po ako kailangan gustuhin para magpakatao…please don’t punish Kuya and Bimb for being my sons.”
