Pharmacist receives bag of fruits from grateful customer

A pharmacist-content creator shared a heartwarming moment when a customer he gave free medicines to came back to give him a bag of fruits.

Arshie Larga, an influencer who also creates informative content, has been giving free medicine to patients with not enough money to buy their prescription with the help of his followers.

He recently shared a video with a woman who does not have enough money to pay for everything on her prescription amounting to P700. Just as the customer was saying she cannot afford the medicine, Arshie said she does not have to pay.

“Salamat. Hulog ka ng langit. Nakakaiyak ka naman. Paano ako makakabayad sa iyo?” the lady told him.

Arshie told her not to worry about it, but a few days later, she came back to give him fruits as a sign of gratitude.

“ANG GANDA NG UMAGA KO. Remember Lola na binigyan ko ng gamot the other day, bumalik siya ngayon na may dalang isang bag ng prutas. Sabi ko nakakahiya naman pero ok lang daw kasi tanim ata nila ‘to. Si Lola naman agang aga pinapaiyak ako,” he said.

The elderly woman who came back to give the fruits:

Arshie started helping customers who don’t have enough money to pay for their medicine when he received cash from his followers when he posted his GCash details as a joke.

“For context lang po, let me explain. ‘Di ba po nung Pasko, nauso ‘yong pag-post ng GCash account sa social media accounts natin? Eh di pinost ko rin ‘yong akin, for fun lang. Hindi ko naman inexpect na may mga tao talagang magpapadala ng pera,” he explained.

The first one he helped with that money is a man who asked which medicine in the prescription is the most important because he can only afford to buy that.

Arshie went on to pack all the medicine he needed and said that he will be giving them for free.

See? Kindness is ‘infectious’. It also goes back to you!
