The latest viral look-alike of ‘Halik’ teleserye star Jericho Rosales had no clue at all that his life was about to take a turn when a group of people asked to take some photos with him early this month; amazed as they are with how similar he looks with the former.
In a Facebook post, Baug (Kua J – Echo ni Echo) shared he paid a courtesy call to the Mayor of Monkayo, Davao De Oro, Manuel “Way Kurat” E. Zamora; thanking him for the warm welcome.
“Maraming salamat po Mayor Manuel “Way Kurat” E. Zamora sa mainit na pagtanggap at pagkilala <3 ,” he said in his post.
The Echo lookalike of Casoon, Monkayo, Davao De Oro also proudly revealed last week, “Legit na guys, abangan n’yo po ako sa KMJS,”
Yes, the former construction worker-turned-product endorser was featured in the Kapuso show “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” on Sunday.

Thanks to a shared post by social media user Hyobz Perez who uploaded some photos of him with some friends, Kuya J’s life has taken an uphill level.
His striking similarity with Rosales plus his height and built made netizens excited and wishing he would have a showbiz opportunity.
After going viral, Baug was interviewed and given a makeover by “Pitik ni DenDen”, a vlogger from Compostela.
The 29-year-old Echo lookalike has a wife and one child. Up close and personal, the team of Denden exclaimed he really looks like Echo, especially when he smiles. His height, his built, his nose – he’s like a twin brother of Echo, they said. Watch Kuya J- Echo ni Echo Channel.
From Kuya J’s social media accounts, it can be gathered that his kababayans fom Monkayo are so proud of him and the attention he has gotten. Many business owners have invited him over which has drawn crowds, as per posts. From endorsing a cafe, he has become a product endorser of other products, too.

Several netizens tagged the award-winning magazine show of GMA Network, “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” or KMJS. And KMJS aptly responded!
KMJS shared on Facebook bits of information on the viral Kuya J of Monkayo. The feature was then aired on Sunday, August 14.
Apparently, Junrey was in first year high school when people started calling him ‘Jericho’ because of their similarity in physical features. He was also tagged as ‘Crush ng Campus’, and when pageants were held, he was a favorite choice as escort.
“Noong una, nakakahiya pa kapag sinasabi nila na kamukha ko raw si Echo. Pero kapag pinapanood ko kasi si Jericho, para lang akong nananalamin!” Junrey disclosed.
The father of Junrey, Mang Jesus, meanwhile, shared that when his wife, Junrey’s mother, was conceiving, she did not have food cravings. Rather, his wife would watch Jericho movies and would look at notebooks with Jericho’s photos as cover.
