Got a lookalike?
Days after photos of a Kapamilya actor Jericho Rosales lookalike went viral, more lookalikes of celebrities were ‘unveiled’ by netizens;’ with most of them from Monkayo itself or other parts of Davao.
On the Facebook post of Pitik ni Kitsoy, four other celebrities were named; adding to Echo’s lookalike, Junrey Baug.
Among the lookalikes posted by Pitik are Beverly Jane Dolayba (Sanya Lopez) of Davao, Shaina of Monkayo (Shaina Magdayao), Empoy of Tagum (Empoy Marquez) and ‘Boyet’ of Tagum (Ken Chan).
Ken Chan Lookalike Receives a Nod
The Kapuso actor Ken Chan made waves when he acknowledged, through his verified account, his lookalike in the post‘s comments.
Ken commented, “Oo nga (smiley and OK emojis) Hello kambal!” which netizens think is cute. Some got envious. “Sana all na notice….ka nice ni kitsoy ui!”
Meanwhile, in a similar post shared on FB page Haring Maniniyot, netizens were quick to notice that the lookalikes posted are from Davao.
“Nasa Davao pala ang mga artistahin.”
“Bakit ganun? Puro nasa Davao? Hustisya naman!”
“Nasa Davao lahat kamukha niyo a new generation na ata.”
With regards to Junrey Baug of Monkayo, a netizen said, “Kamukha man talaga xa ni jerico. Kung yayaman xa ito matutu na magchange na ang pananamit at mga cutes matangkad rin xa eh copy talaga siya.”
To note, after going viral, Kuya J – Echo ni Echo – as per his Facebook page, has accepted endorsements after a makeover by ‘Pitik ni Denden’ vlogger. He also made it to a Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho (KMJS) feature which was aired on Sunday, August 14.
From being a construction worker, the 29-year-old gets exposure and opportunities for endorsements. Who knows? He might be the next star to watch on television.
