Look: Young Sharon as flower girl at Helen and Tito's wedding

Megastar Sharon Cuneta posted a photo from her childhood days and social media users can’t resist her cuteness!

On Instagram, Sharon uploaded a picture taken during her Mama Helen (veteran actress Helen Gamboa) and Daddy Tito’s (actor-politician Tito Sotto) wedding day.

“Flower girl at my Daddy Tito @helenstito and Mama Helen’s wedding decades ago! Panganay,” read the caption of the old photo she uploaded.

A lot of social media users commented and expressed how happy they are to see how cute the Megastar was in her younger years.

In a previous interview, Sharon already shared that her first television appearance was actually in 1969, when then-superstar Helen brought her to the show “Oras Ng Ligaya” and thought of giving her a special number.

“Ito ang ebidensya na talagang una akong lumabas sa TV. Umekstra lang ako, kasama ako ng Mama Helen Gamboa ko….Ni-lip sync ko song ng Mama Helen ko. I was three years old,” she shared.

[This is the proof that my first showbiz appearance was in television. I was just an extra during that time, I was with Mama Helen Gamboa. In that photo, I was lip-syncing the song of my Mama Helen. I was three years old.]

Less than a decade after such television appearance, Sharon became the “Jukebox Princess“; appearing on the Philippine pop charts for the first time in 1978 with her hit song “Mr. DJ”, as well as popularizing the songs “Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko” and “High School Life”. She also sang the theme song of Cebu Film Festival entry “Tubig at Langis” in 1980.

In 1981, she rose to fame as an actress through the film “Dear Heart” where she was paired with then Close-Up model and Regal Films’ 1980s heartthrob, Gabby Concepcion.
