Ronnie Liang looks back on those times he had 'nothing': No money, no influence, no good clothes

As he keeps on soaring to greater heights, singer, pilot, and army reservist Ronnie Liang still remembers how life was way before he found a place in the Philippine entertainment industry.

On Facebook, Ronnie uploaded a throwback picture and shared how he had overcome every obstacle when he got “nothing to offer” yet, inspiring a lot of people online.

“During the days that I have nothing, nothing to offer. No money, no influence, no good clothes, nothing,” he wrote in the caption of the photo he posted. “However, I did not focus on the things I didn’t have. Instead, I concentrate on something I have and always look at the bright and good side of life.”

“Because even though you’ve been through a difficult life in the past together with your family, but you’re trying hard by working so that you can have money for your studies and that’s why you’re able to get also a lot of good achievements in your life now and that is admirable. You can inspire today’s youth who are struggling in their lives now to look for a job, in the time that they cannot yet study because there’s no money for it,” Gemma Ehrhardt wrote.

In a previous post, Ronnie shared that he took a number of part-time jobs, which helped him survive his student years; disclosing that he used to be a customer service associate at the Video City and a service crew at McDonald’s.
