A netizen is calling on shoppers to extend a little kindness to sales people working in malls by keeping items on display organized.
In a Facebook post, Alloy Peralta shared a photo of mall staff helping each other fold clothes during the mall’s closing time. “Last night, it was already closing time at the mall, I noticed these sales persons who were helping each other to fold the clothes on display properly,” he narrated.

While it may be their job to fold the clothes, Alloy said people should take into consideration that they may already be tired accommodating the surge of people because of the holiday rush. Keeping items on display organized will also help them go home to their families early, he said.
“It may be their job, but given that it’s the holiday season, they must be tired already accommodating many people all day long,” he said.
“I hope we can be kinder this Christmas and help them go home to their respective families and rest a little early by not disorganizing too much the piles of clothes in the mall as we try them. Your kindness will go a long way!”

As of this writing, Alloy’s post has gained more than 16k reactions, with sales people agreeing with him.
“Yes po, di po talaga basta-basta lalo na pag may midnight sale tapos magtutupi pa, minsan almost 1 am na makauwi kasi babyahe pa at kinabukasan opening to closing na naman. Pero laban, nagtutulungan naman magtupi sa nagulo,” one commented.

“Even if not holiday season, especially sa supermarkets yung mga duty ng closing hindi din naman nakakapag out agad because they need to return all the items na naiwan ni customer sa counter. Imagine kung tayo na mismo individually magbabalik nun napakalaking ginhawa na sa kanila,” another said.
“Be considerate din sa mga supermarket kung di naman bibilin yung item or kulang sa budget wag na kunin ang hirap din mag return items tapos magiging damaged pa dahil sa natambakan na ng natambakan food and non food magkahalo na,” Jhoy G. said.
